We leave tomorrow

The preparations are almost complete. 

The Tres amigos are about to embark upon a Camino Ingles  Adventure...

Jane, me & Kerri
 The flights are booked and we're checked in with boarding cards ready to fly.

 Tonight Jane and Kerri arrive from England into BCN for our flight back out tomorrow to A Coruña.

In the morning Julie is taking us to the airport and we begin our latest adventure. Tomorrow we will be spending the night in Ferrol ready to start walking THE CAMINO INGLES on Thursday.
A four day 120km (more or less) trip from Ferrol to Santiago.

After that we head out for Muxia & Finisterre.

    So looking forward to your blog... Galicia here you come. It's the route I wish to take next year and remember stop at the Fox House! boa camiño

    Mark, have a wonderful trip. I will plan to check in now and then on your blog. Looks like quite an exciting trip. I was not aware of the Camino Ingles till you mentioned it. Last year I did the Camino Frances, now thinking of redoing part of it, or one of the other Camino routes. Buen Camino!

      Thanks Richard - We are really looking forward to it. If you're thinking of doing another route I can thoroughly recommend the 'Primitivo' from Oviedo- I did it last year and loved it, although the first couple of days were tough.
      although I enjoyed the Camino Frances, it seems to be getting busier and busier and I so dislike the rush for a bed attitude which I get sucked into.

    All packed , except I can't find my reading glasses anywhere I have turned the house upside down , urrrgh!!!!.Other than that I think I have everything . See you this eve xxxx yippoeeeee.

      We can always share glasses, or even find a little shop that ells them cheap -or how about a magnifying glass?

    I did the Camino in April/May so had little problem finding a place to stay. Don't think I would like it in the summer months when it is crazy busy. If I do any part of the Frances again, would plan to do in spring or fall. I'm thinking the fall might be nice. I've heard the Primitivo is beautiful. Probably should do that and Camino del Norte sometime. Thanks for your thoughts.

      No worries - We walked the second part (Leon to Santiago) in September, which was still quite busy -especially the last 100kms. But maybe slightly later may be better -dependant on the weather walking over the Pyrenees then could be beautiful.
